The King’s Foundation’s mission is to develop children through sport.

The King’s Foundation is a registered educational charity (charity no.1105460, company no.05099069), that uses sport and activity to help children and young people to develop into responsible members of society.

King’s work with children and young people in greatest need both in the UK and in the developing world.  King’s is passionate about child development and we provide around 15,000 child places annually at our sports and activity camps; King’s Camps are the largest network of children’s sports camps in the UK. We are members of the British Activity Holiday Association and our UK work is inspected by them and by Ofsted.

We are developing a network of sports and activity camps for children who are victims of war and the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Botswana and Uganda and we train indigenous people in sports leadership and sports outreach.

Through our trading company, King's Professional Services, we advise other child-care related organisations such as the NHS, Social Services, Eurocamp, Keycamp and Cunard Line.

The commercial work of the King’s Foundation covers our administration and management costs, enabling 100% of supporter donations go directly to our outreach work.
